What's the difference between synthetic blend and full synthetic?
Synthetic blend mixes conventional oil with synthetic base oils. It protects well and costs less, which makes it a solid pick for older engines and everyday commutes. Full synthetic is refined further: it flows better on cold starts, holds up under heat, towing, turbo engines, and stop-and-go traffic, and it usually lasts longer between changes. Many newer vehicles require it (your oil cap or owner's manual will say). Not sure which yours needs? We'll look it up before we start.
How do I know if my vehicle needs more than 5 quarts of oil?
Your owner's manual lists the exact capacity, and it's often printed near the oil cap under the hood. Plenty of trucks, V8s, and some turbo engines take 6 to 8 quarts. If yours takes more than 5, extra quarts are added at a small per-quart charge, and we tell you the total before any work starts. No surprises at the counter.
How long does an oil change take?
Most oil changes are done in about 30 to 45 minutes, and you're welcome to wait in the lobby. That's a bit longer than a 10-minute lube lane because an ASE-certified technician is also running your safety inspection, rotating your tires, and torquing the filter and drain plug to spec instead of racing a clock. Fast, just not rushed.
